Conformation, show, performance, pet prospects... What is the difference... Conformation Prospect ~ At the time of placement, your pup is examined by my vet and myself as being a worthy breeding animal a sound representative of the breed. It means simply that he may carry the traits desired to later develop into a show prospect. These pups are sold on co-ownership to ensure it is not being bought for breeding purposes only. It is understood that this is no guarantee; it is your gamble based on your experience (and mine) that the puppy is going to mature into a show prospect and later a winning show dog. Show Prospect ~ I feel a dog is not a show prospect unless he is pointed (AKC, UKC, IABCA). These animals are placed for considerably more than conformation prospects and may be sold on open registration. Performance Prospect ~ This puppy may be any of these prospects but also shows a strong drive in an additional venue such as obedience, agility, herding, flyball, etc. ***It takes a lot of time, training and patience to turn any dog into a winning show dog. I cannot guarantee you have the ability to turn even the best puppy into a show dog. I guarantee that your dog has no physical disqualifying faults but I do NOT guarantee as to if your puppy will mature to your personal liking or your personal interpretation of the standard or performance.*** Companion ~ This puppy may have a show disqualifying fault such as being too tall or too short or we may just feel that a family home is better suited for him. However, he or she will still make a wonderful addition to any family! We realize that adding a dog or puppy to your family is a huge commitment that takes ample research before making a final decision. Please don't hesitate to ask us for references from other puppy owners, reputable breeders, or veterinarians. We are confident that our socialization and training makes for a very well adjusted new family member!
Please feel free to check the Nursery page to see any new litters that may have arrived! Any puppies on that page will not be available until after 8 - 12 weeks old. At that time, we will move their information to this page.
Here is what's available from our friends....
RoundAbout's Poison Ivy UKC CH Moonstruck Simon Sex x Am. ptd Okie's Waltz Across Texas D.O.B. 7/31/2007 Ivy is a very happy little girl. She is only about 13 1/2" but has tons of spunk! She is a flashy little bi-black with nice conformation, pretty movement, and a nice expression. Ivy is house and crate trained and does okay on a leash. She is great with kids and loves to be by your side.
WindDancer's Flyin' High WindDancer's Deja Vu x Ridgetop's Queen Ann's Lace Baron is a beautiful sable color with a awesome almond eye. He has the sweetest expression! He is very flashy and very well built but a little on the reserved side. We were getting him ready for the rings but have decided to place him due to having others that we have commitments to show and don't have the time this boy deserves. Baron is leash and crate trained and does well with kids and other dogs.
UKC Grand CH. Dark Star's Indian Scout x Cinjay's Nicely Iced D.O.B. 6/23/2008 Thee three beautiful boys are now available. All have wonderful personalities, are current on vaccines and wormings, and are very well socialized. The first is a sable male and I think he would make a wonderful show dog (but would be happy as a pet too). The second is a bi-black male that is incredibly striking and flashy to look at!
