This is our daughter who has taken the passion of dogs after me!  At a very early age she was helping with the
feeding and caring of our dogs here at home and then moved on to helping hold dogs ringside at the shows.  Now,
with Bo, her own Sheltie, has begun her career in the breed ring!

AKC does not allow children to start showing until 9 yrs. old so she has to wait for that.  However, UKC does let them
start at a younger age, with or without, the help of an adult.  As you can see in most of the photos, she prefers to
handle her dog completely on her own!  She is still a bit "vertically challenged" so I do help her get him on the table :-)
Our son started into the show ring at 7 yrs. old (1999) with our obedience trainer's dog, Dolly.  As a
special gift, he was added as her co-owner!  Now that he is older, school and extra curricula activities take
up most of his time.
He is an incredibly gifted musician, plays sports, and is an excellent student.  Although, we wish he
would have taken a longer interest in the dogs, we are very proud of his other successes!
When not actually showing her dog, she and her
friends often have pretend dog shows with REAL
ribbons given to her by others she meets or helps
at the shows!
This is our youngest, most challenging, child.  Because of this, we don't take her to many shows.  But when she does
get to go, she really enjoys the other dogs and the excitement.  She is still a bit too young to be real involved with the
dogs but she is our #1 puppy socializer!    We are working on teaching her the basics so that she can start in UKC
Spring 2008.
Delaney got the honor of showing 'Tank', owned by
Cindy Clapper, for the junior handling class at the
Highland Hills AKC match
Again, Cindy allowed her to show one of her
dachshunds, Oscar, in the non-licensed puppy class at
the Ohio Toy Fox Terrier UKC show.
And here she is!  Finally getting to show her own new Dachshund, Lacy at the Ohio Toy Fox Terrier UKC show.  She
acted like a wonderful young lady and made a great deal of improvement from Sat. morning to Sun. afternoon!
She will now be showing in both the AKC and UKC junior showmanship rings as well as helping Cindy in the breed
ring.
Reagan started showing in the Spring of 2009 with our own Elvis.  She still needs lots of help getting him on the
table for she is a champ taking him around the ring!
